GrabCar, UberX, Go-Car Banned in West Java, It's the Netizen Protest Voice

Tuesday (10/10) ago, the Government of West Java Province through the Department of Transportation Jabar, temporarily suspend the online taxi operations in the region. This decision was taken following the threat of strikes from public transport drivers. Hearing of a ban while online taxi operates, torn West Jabar also reacted aloud. After circulating a petition signed by tens of thousands of West Jabar people to refuse the ban, netizens in social media also voiced response to the West Java provincial government's decision. Dishub Jabar itself stated that the temporary stop of this online taxi service is applied on the basis of the service has not yet had official regulation to operate, pursuant to Regulation of Minister of Transportation No.26 Year 2016. "The appeal of temporary dismissal of online taxis is done on the grounds that the online Taxi has no official regulation to operate from the government after the cancellation of Ministerial Regulation No. 26 of 2017 based on Supreme Court Decision No. 37 P / HUM / 2017 in August 2017," Dishub Jabar in an official instagram account, Wednesday (11/10).
