Asteroid 2012 TC4 crossed the earth with very close distance on Thursday, October 12, last week. According to a Daily Mail report, the asteroid as big as the house hovered about 27 thousand miles above the earth's surface, or equivalent to one-eighth of Earth's distance to the moon. According to experts, this asteroid will return across the earth in close proximity in 2019, 2050 and 2079. As last week, in 2019 and 2050, 2012 TC4 asteroid will only cross the earth in very close distance. But in the year 2079asteroid is predicted to hit the earth. "We know today that the 2012 Asteroid TC4 will not hit Earth by 2050, but the event will probably bend the asteroid so that it can hit Earth in 2079," said Rudiger Jehn, an analyst at the European Space Agency. If the asteroid actually hit Earth in 2079, the impact is expected to be much worse than the asteroid impact of 2013 and then in Chelyabinsk City, Russia. As a result of the incident as many as 1,500 people injured and seven thousand buildings were damaged. Events that occurred on Thursday last week, giving NASA the opportunity to conduct experiments on the defense system of the earth. According to one scientist working for the Nasa TC4 observation project, Dr Michael Kelly, this opportunity can be exploited by scientists to gather information and study asteroids 2012 TC4 as much as possible. But the space agency still has not confirmed whether the trial has been conducted. This news is from line today
