Grab Disable Feature Refill Balance from Payment Service GrabPay Credits

On 16th October 2017, online transportation service Grab announced that it has disabled the rechargeable balance feature of the GrabPay Credits payment service starting today at 9 am. Users can still use the remaining balance to make transactions. Payment features with credit card and Mandiri E-Cash are still available. Grab must take this decision because they are currently in the process of applying for permission to Bank Indonesia. Other important facts What happens to GrabPay Credits is similar to a non-cash payment service owned by Tokopedia (TokoCash), Bukalapak (BukaDompet), Shopee (ShopeePay), up to Paytren. They are all required to deactivate the rechargeable balance feature until they get an e-money license or license from Bank Indonesia. This is different from GO-JEK, which has acquired one of the e-money licensing companies called MVCommerce. This allows GO-PAY, their payment service, to continue operating normally. This news is from line today
